Universal Tongue was nominated
for The Golden Lion
Universal Tongue was nominated for The Golden Lion which is awarded each year during the Cinekid Festival. With this award Cinekid and partners strive to showcase the full range of projects that were developed over the past year and try to stimulate the quality of new media productions aimed at a younger audience.
The nominees for the Golden Lion are:

BODY, Philip Schütte
Constellation, Terry Cavanagh
Digital Bird Playground, Sokpop Collective
The First Tree, David Wehle
FlARmingos, Kristin Lucas
Flotsam Fluke, Stefan Schäfer
My First Vlog, Joris Verleg
The Timid Wilderness, Miranda Moss
Universal Tongue, Anouk Kruithof
WigWag, Matthew Keff
The jury, consisting of Farid Tabarki (chairman), Hanneke Metselaar, Jan Robert Leegte, Stephanie Afrifa, Maren Siebert and Paul Stork, will choose a winner from these 11 nominees. The projects will also be considered for an audience award: children can vote for their favorite project during the festival. The winners of the Golden Lion jury and audience award will both receive a cash prize of € 3,000.
